New Zealand North Island Tour

This day you travel to Waitomo that is well-known for housing the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. A popular attraction among both local and global travelers, the caves are known for the glowworms that are unique to New Zealand. These glowworms are little creatures radiate luminescent light. Later, leave for the 'Thermal City' of Rotorua via the Mamaku Ranges.

Begin with a visit to Te Puia, the cultural center of New Zealand. The center is home to New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, the popular Pohutu Geyser and around 500 geothermal wonders. Explore the rugged mountain ranges and cultivated farmland en-route.

Spend the day at leisure and explore Napier and its attractions. In the afternoon, go for a wine tour and enjoy tastings at 3 local wineries of Napier.

This morning, you leave for your next destination, Wellington, the capital city. This fun and colorful city that offers a wide variety of tourist attractions and activities. The city gives you an opportunity to explore its rich culture and heritage that it has preserved through the years. Enjoy the beauty of Manawatu Gorge and Palmerston North as you travel through the Kapiti Coast to reach Wellington.
